Born in 2004 as a True Digital Record Label
Craze Digital started in 2004 as a digital record label, and though we have successfully evolved into a broad digital media company, we haven’t deserted our prime passion to release music, produce new records, and focus in the digital world as our primary target market. Our commitment is always to stick to the “digital highway” and explore its opportunities and capabilities.
Our catalog of music albums has grown into over 500 titles, in various genres, all distributed through online & mobile channels, and available for digital purchase. Whether on iTunes, e-Music, Amazon, YouTube, Nokia store, Cellular carrier or direct-to-fan – we want our music to be legally available for consumers, at a reasonable fair price which respects both artists and fans.
Our marketing and sales strategies adhere to today’s digital world practices, which put trust, transparency and open conversation as the leading values for brand-consumer communications. We want the music fans to feel they are doing a good deal when they are purchasing digital music legally – something which has been a bit diluted over the last years.
The key to achieve this is to provide a bigger value for the digital music product. Beef albums with extras and bonus content as default, integrate downloads with fashion and urban lifestyle goods, and most importantly, think how to enhance the emotional excitement using imagination and the infinite possibilities of the digital world (games, interactive apps, augmented reality, new ideas…).
Urban Soul
While our catalog features a host of music genres from fantastic artist, our main musical orientation has always been in the Urban world. Rap, Hip-Hop, Gangsta, R&B, Soul, Funk, Dirty South, Grime, Crank…fused with Rock, Guitars, Electronica, Electro, Distortions, Classical vocals…all are a variety of wonderful offsprings of the vintage Urban soul that makes people all around the world addicted to beats, groove and words.
We are proud to hold exclusive rights to some of the biggest Urban albums and are always looking to work with new, fresh talents.
New Productions
Our current main production in progress is a new album with Rev Run of Run DMC, slated for release on 2010-2011, and featuring exciting new recordings to Run DMC’s legendary hits with some of today’s biggest artists.
